I usually try to weave well known best sellers equally in with up and coming Indi written books like my own. I believe it’s important to pay it forward in reading self-published work. I also believe it’s an imperative step in improving yourself as a writer to learn from best selling books. Reading is the only way to truly better your vocabulary, writing voice & style, and character development skills.
We Were Liars is the next book on my bestselling list… I’m hoping to get to it with in the next couple of weeks and I can’t wait! I’ve seen this sucker everywhere, and have for what seems like FOREVER… Any book that can stay so popular for close to two years like this one has, is bound to be fantastic!
A beautiful and distinguished family.
A private island.
A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
Lies upon lies.
We Were Liars is a modern, sophisticated suspense novel from New York Times bestselling author, National Book Award finalist, and Printz Award honoree E. Lockhart.
And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.
“An ambitious novel with an engaging voice, a clever plot and some terrific writing.”–New York Times Book Review
