WEEKLY BLOG PROJECT REVEAL: K & D Suspenseful Collection!

I’m so excited to be working on weekly short stories with Kim! She’s an amazing writer, and it turns out we have so much in common for a couple of gals who live in such different worlds! 

This interactive writing challenge is simple and insanely creative. It’s a group effort and we’re so glad to have you join in the writing fun!!  I hope you’re ready to challenge Kim and I by choosing which prompts we can transform into stellar suspense!  Give us your best shot!  You vote on our weekly prompt, and we provide the entertainment. One of us will start the story and the other will pick up where she randomly left off. It’s that simple! The super easy steps are as follows:

STEP ONE: Every Wednesday we’ll post a voting poll with a few prompts to choose from.

STEP TWO: With the click of a button, you cast your vote on a prompt. (voting will stay open for three days.)

STEP THREE: READ AND ENJOY!  Every week on the following Tuesday we will post the short story that transformed from the very winning prompt you chose!

All comments on the story posts will be open. We love feedback, and I’m willing to bet you will never guess who wrote what!!  Therein a challenge of your own! (Yes, one of us writes in British English, and one of us in American. We are well aware, and ready for some trickery. Trust me, we are brilliant at adapting styles.)

Joint Author BIO:

Kim and Didi were thrilled when they crossed paths in 2017, as  fellow suspense authors they read each others work. It became clear there was a mutual author love between the two! This led to them deciding to become writing buddies, to entertain you and sharpen their craft as writers. From across the Atlantic ocean, the two authors will respond to writing prompt challenges, voted by readers and/or themselves to respond to. The fun bit…. one author will start the story/challenge off and the other will finish it. Your challenge is working out who wrote what!

 

 As well as suspense the two authors will turn their hand to genres that have never dabbled in before ,and have a lot of fun along the way.

So today 5/18/17 is the big kick off day! Since it’s our first ever challenge, it will be the one and only time the poll is posted slightly off schedule. From next week forward we will be on track and ready to rock and roll! So watch your newsfeeds, and be ready to vote vote vote!  We can’t wait to see what prompt you choose so we can test out our short story madness!
