It bleeds in your pages,
It seeps through your pores,
It crawls in your skin,
It’s no one’s but yours.
The ups and the downs,
The fears, and the doubt,
The deep routed pains,
You can’t seem to push out.
The favorite moments,
They cling to the walls,
You see them in faces,
Remember them all.
Your past is behind you,
Move forward, move on,
Just know you can’t escape it,
Scars on souls keep the bond.
Beautiful, Didi. ♥️

Didi, this is beautiful, deep with emotion and hidden truths that writing does to all writers and expressed so vividly that it kinda took my breath away.. Wow. Fabulous poem.

Ohh, Didi!! This is so very emotional and beautiful!!! A Marvelous Word Masterpiece!!
How can I tempt you to write more poetry, My Dear???? Please tell me and I will. Simply awesome! Try Haiku – just tap out 17 syllables and record it on your smartphone. A good use of “Wait Time”!
Bellissimo, Didi, Bellissimo!

Thank you so much, Chuck! Your encouragement means the world. I really should write more poetry. I love the meaningful simplicity, and the way it settles. I most definitely be trying the syllables 🙂 XOXO

Oh, Thank you Didi for this seed of inspiration in showing you how easy it is to write Haiku:
Haiku: Counting Out Syllables
By Charles Robert Lindholm
This is what I’ll do
Start counting out syllables
And write out Haiku

See, simple! LOL!

Ok – Your turn!
