Within #poem

art-1838374__340

A pawn in this game,

We’re played and we’re slaughtered.

Our energy flows,

And by most we’re only bothered.

Competition too thick,

Our humanity gets chipped,

We let ourselves drown,

At the crack of a whip.

But what if there’s more?

If it’s hidden inside us.

Yet to be tapped into,

But, ohhhh when we do!

The feel will be glorious,

Breaking through, breaking free.

The capability is within you,

I already know it’s within me.
