So, every month I do a writing scene prompt and invite any authors who’d like to participate to join in. We plug the characters from our WIP into a scene with the given prompt and at the end of the month, I link the participants into my own scene. It’s been SO MUCH FUN! I love every participating scene and a few bloggers have joined in almost every month!
Right now, my life is insanely busy. I’m in the middle of selling my house and buying a new one, as well as keeping my six year old high functioning autistic child caught up academically over the summer months, while he’s out of school. I’ve got to say, my hat is off to all the teachers out there with their giant hearts, and all the patience that they have oozing from their every pore. This mommy business has been one hell of an adventure. It’s a lot of work, but I’ve got to tell you, seeing his little face light up when he clicks onto something new, and watching the pride develop in his eyes upon literally every single accomplishment is amazing. I’m so very blessed to have the challenge of raising him. What’s funny is my year old daughter is actually harder than him on most days lol. We have learning charts, and chore charts, and we’re working at it daily along with the chaos of moving and the whole home buying/selling process.
Needless to say, my time is strapped. I’m going to put a stop to my WIP monthly challenge, just for the month of June. I intend on jumping back in, and running with it full throttle in July. Wish me luck, and again I apologize for my lack of presence on all of your lovely blogs. I’ll read what I can, when I can. Hopefully the chaos of my life will slow some by the end of summer… hopefully!!
You’re a rockstar! Looking forward to the prompt for July!
