Thank You For The Signed Copy!!

First off let me just say that K. D. Dowdall from the Pen and Paper blog is one of the most genuine people I’ve had the privileged of being in contact with through WordPress!  She’s caring, supportive, and insanely uplifting and insightful. That said, after I read her book Garrett’s Bones last year, I was blown away by the fact that she is equally as talented in writing as she is at her ability to project such a warm and powerfully humble online presence! Talk about rare, and worth the praise!

Karen’s writing style is BEAUTIFUL!! 

When I found out that she was coming out with her current new release The Stone Arch Secret, I was thrilled!  I bumped a few other reads out and jumped right on board on her blog tour with R&R Book Tours. Things got a little crazy in my life as well as in Karen’s, and I was unable to review it as a part of the tour. BUT in the process of the tour I entered into her drawing and WON A SIGNED PAPERBACK!!

Needless to say, as soon as I found out I’d won, I put my E-book away mid story and waited to finish it when I had the paperback in my hands. Trust me the wait was hard because this book is absolutely engaging, and I felt involved in the story 100%.  I still waited anyway because, well lets face it, holding (and smelling) a paperback is borderline orgasmic. Also, as old as this makes me sound and feel, the satisfaction of turning a page does in fact bring the story even that much more to life. I couldn’t pass up letting a book as beautifully written as The Stone Arch Secret jump off of an actual page and into my brain.

Luckily, it didn’t take long to arrive!!!  WAHOOOOO!!

So thank you Karen, and R&R Book Tours for this phenomenal book!!  I couldn’t be any happier.

I actually finished this book two days ago, and will be posting my 5 STAR review on Sat Feb 3rd. So keep an eye out, you don’t want to miss this breakdown of such an awesomely unique story!

I’m well aware that I’m wearing a jail(ish) sweater, and am missing one nail lol. Don’t judge me. It’s comfy, and I’m having a lazy day!
