Memorial #poem … The Things That You Have Done For Me.

It’s time to reflect, and because I’m free,

I think of the things you’ve done for me.

Your bones lay still, your cause still alive,

Oh God, how I wish you’d survived.

You bled, you suffered, you gave it all,

For me the sinner, you’re willing to fall.

Freedom’s not free, it comes with a price,

Thank you, my soldier, for giving your life.
